6. Emergency Management:
a. Weekly Maintenance of all Emergency Management Emergency Response
Vehicles and supplies completed.
b. Meeting with TDEM Region 4 Liaison Officer to go over our plans, contracts
and City needs.
c. Attended Harris County Hazard Mitigation Plan- MAPTool Training with
Harris County OEM.
d. Tropical Storm Edouard
i. Attended conference calls with Harris County, State of Texas and
NWS.
ii. Prepared response assets for deployment. All rescue boats and
highwater vehicles are prepared to respond.
7. Ordinance
a. Filed an Ordinance with City Manager to standardize underground fire
service mains. Mandate the use of AWWA C900 DR 14 in all fire service
mains. City Council passed on August 24".
