Design ongoing Charles St. water line Engineers Improvement Under Construction $ 19,045910.40 Under Design $ 1,742,360.00 Total $ 20,778,270.40 Northshire LS Upp_rade, New Force Main, New Gravity Sewer Line Project Description - This project includes Wastewater System Improvements for providing sewer service for anticipated growth in the northwest area of Humble around West Townsen. It includes the upgrades to the Northshire Lift Station including electrical work and new piping and valves, construction of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 16" force main, 5,600 linear feet of 24" gravity sewer line, and replacement of 2,300 linear feet of 27" gravity sanitary sewer line. The improvements also include replacing the siphon that crosses Garner's Bayou into the Wastewater Plant Engineers — RPS — Klotz Associate, Inc. Contractor — V&S Construction Status — In June, contractors installed 997 linear ft of 27" gravity sewer Hobas pipe, and 391 linear ft of 27" gravity sewer pipe, 2 air release valves, 2 4 ft. manholes and an air release manhole. 49 City of Houston Inter -Connect #2 Project Description - This project provides a 2"d connection to the City of Houston Water System to obtain surface water from the City of Houston as part of the ground water reduction plan. This will bring surface water from the City of Houston along Rankin Road into the Well # 6 water plant site. This project consists of approximately 3700 linear feet of 20" water line. The project also included the installation of the 20" water line under US 59 and the Union Pacific Rail Road. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — ISJ Underground Utilities, LLC Status — For the month of June, Installed 45 feet of 12" C-900 water pipe, 201 feet of 16" C-900 water pipe, (3) 16" Gate Valves, 20 " Wet connect and 20" Valve , P » South Houston Road Widening & Reconstruction Proiect Proiect Description - Project involves improvements to widen the existing 2-lane asphalt roadway to a 3-lane concrete curb and gutter roadway. Drainage improvements include installation of underground storm sewers, inlets and ditch regrading. It also includes a new traffic signal system. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Engineering 90% complete Coordinating with Centerpoint and private utilities for relocation of utilities. Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase 6 Proiect Prolect Description - Project involves replacement and rehabilitation of several deteriorated sanitary sewer line segments throughout the City. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — King Solution Services, LLC Status — During the month of June, a $150,000.00 Change Order was approved for the rehabilitation of additional 8-inch and 10-inch sanitary sewer mains within the Northshire Subdivision utilizing pipe -bursting methods. This additional work will begin mid -July. Meeks and Manninp_ Road Paving and Drainage Improvement Proiect Proiect Description - Project involves milling and overlaying the existing asphalt streets and regrading and installing roadside drainage culverts, new water line and fire hydrants along Meeks Road. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Engineering 80% complete McDugald, Sharon Dr., and Carolvn Ct. Road Reconstruction Proiect Proiect Description - Project consists of replacing the existing asphalt streets with concrete curb and gutter streets, and will include replacing the water line and fire hydrants along McDugald. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Ballast Point Status — For the month of June Ballast Point Construction has complete concrete paving for Sharon Dr. Driveways have been completed on Mcdugald and 75% on Sharon. Sidewalks and French drains have been completed throughout the project. Contractors have started dressing up the areas, but still have water taps and sprinklers to put in place. For the Rankin and Kingfisher intersection improvements, the first 80' of concrete paving has been poured. Additionally, the following were installed: 1" Short Services- 20, 1" Long Services- 14, 6" Cut & Plug- 3 and 8" Wet Connects- 3 16 inch Water line from Well 6 to Well 9 Project Description - Project will provide a 16" surface water line to connect Well 6 (Rankin Rd) to the ground storage tank and booster pumps at Well 9 (Carpenter Rd). This will allow the surface water to be provided from 3 of the City's well sites Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Construction to begin July 20 2025 Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Project Protect Description - As part of the City's on -going traffic signal maintenance, City staff has identified three (3) existing signalized intersections with outdated and deteriorating equipment in need of replacement and upgrades. The intersections included with this project are: • S Houston Avenue at Isaacks Road N Houston Avenue at Townsen Blvd W Townsen Blvd at Walmart entrance drive Engineers.— ARKK Engineers Contractor — Larry Young Paving Status — 95% complete. Waiting on pedestrian crossing buttons. North Houston and Charles St. Water line Improvements Project Description - Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Desgin is ongoing.
