6. Emergency Management:
a. 2026 Hurricane season began on June 1, 2026
b. Weekly Maintenance of all Emergency Management Emergency Response
Vehicles and supplies completed.
c. 501 Wilson Road- OEM Storage.
i. Drywall repairs and painting of the entire interior was completed.
ii. Interior cabinetry repaired, refaced and repainted.
iii. Storage bay walls insulation repairs completed.
iv. Electrical repairs and replacements to the interior outlets and bay cord
reels was completed. Ceiling fan was replaced.
v. Interior and exterior lighting was replaced, updated to LED lights.
vi. Interior quarters tile flooring was professionally cleaned, due to years
of neglect.
vii. Stairwell to the attic was repaired due to rust and deterioration.
viii. All areas of the storage bays and attic were cleaned to remove cobwebs,
dirt and debris. All damage that was found has been repaired.
d. Harris County OEM and City of Houston OEM FIFA conference calls were
attended to determine any impact to the City of Humble.
i. None were found.
ii. Advised Harris County OEM and City of Houston OEM about the Fan
Fest Watch Party during City of Humble supported Sip and Shop event
on June 26th.
e. Tropical Storm Arthur
i. Daily weather calls with the State of Texas and National weather
Service attended.
ii. Monitored river and bayou status for possible impacts.
1. Minor street flooding was found in Timberwood, Memorial
Glen, Sharon Dr., Bender Ave. Due to the volume of rain that
fell in a short period of time.
2. Bayous and storm water drainage held water and flowed
properly.
f. City Council approved resolution 26-907 adopting the Harris County Multi -
Jurisdiction Mitigation Plan.
i. Resolution was submitted to Harris County and the State of Texas for
completion.
7. Fire Marshal Office and Office of Emergency Management budget completed and
turned into City Manager and Mayor.
The budget included 4 Capital projects.
