Construction 50% complete $ 384,760.00 Project North Houston and ARKK Engineering proposal Charles St. water line Engineers coming in May Improvement Under Construction $ 19,045910.40 Under Design $ 1,552,110.00 Total $ 20,598,020.40 Northshire LS Upgrade, New Force Main, New Gravity Sewer Line Protect Description - This project includes Wastewater System Improvements for providing sewer service for anticipated growth in the northwest area of Humble around West Townsen. It includes the upgrades to the Northshire Lift Station including electrical work and new piping and valves, construction of approximately 10,000 linear feet of 16" force main, 5,600 linear feet of 24" gravity sewer line, and replacement of 2,300 linear feet of 27" gravity sanitary sewer line. The improvements also include replacing the siphon that crosses Gainer's Bayou into the Wastewater Plant Engineers — RPS — Klotz Associate, Inc. Contractor — V&S Construction Status — In April, contractors installed 2,639 linear ft of 27" gravity sewer, installed 8 gravity manholes, 652 linear ft of 18" C-900 sewer pipe, 860 linear ft of 18" C-900 Serda loc pipe, 760 linear ft of 30" casing, 1 18' plug valve and 1 doghouse manhole. City of Houston Inter -Connect #2 Project Description - This project provides a 2"d connection to the City of Houston Water System to obtain surface water from the City of Houston as part of the ground water reduction plan. This will bring surface water from the City of Houston along Rankin Road into the Well # 6 water plant site. This project consists of approximately 3700 linear feet of 20" water line. The project also included the installation of the 20" water line under US 59 and the Union Pacific Rail Road. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — ISJ Underground Utilities, LLC Status — During the month of April - Contractors installed 1,105 feet of 20-inch C-900 water pipe, 320 feet of 12-inch C-900 water pipe, 2 butterfly valves and 1 air -release manhole. South Houston Road Wideninp, & Reconstruction Project Project Description - Project involves improvements to widen the existing 2-lane asphalt roadway to a 3-lane concrete curb and gutter roadway. Drainage improvements include installation of underground storm sewers, inlets and ditch regrading. It also includes a new traffic signal system. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Cnntractnr — Status — Engineering 95% complete Coordinating with Centerpoint and private utilities for relocation of utilities. Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Phase 6 Proiect Proiect Description - Project involves replacement and rehabilitation of several deteriorated sanitary sewer line segments throughout the City. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — King Solution Services, LLC Status — During the month of April, King Solutions completed the following: 1,359 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE pipe bursting, installed 23 4-inch service connections, 3 4-foot diameter precast sanitary manholes, 2 obstruction removals, 3 point repairs and 1 8-inch cleanout pff:�0, 2026 at 4:26.a 9 PM `9822 Southv�ick Dr H.% t) TX 77338 Meeks and Manning Road Paving and Drainage Improvement Proiect Project Description - Project involves milling and overlaying the existing asphalt streets and regrading and installing roadside drainage culverts, new water line and fire hydrants along Meeks Road. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Engineering 80% complete Met with Mr. Mittag, engineering will move forward. McDugald, Sharon Dr., and Carolvn Ct. Road Reconstruction Project Project Description - Project consists of replacing the existing asphalt streets with concrete curb and gutter streets, and will include replacing the water line and fire hydrants along McDugald. Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Ballast Point Status — For the month of April, Ballast Point Construction finished pouring concrete curbs on Carolyn Ct and started backfilling and dressing up the area in preparation for sod. On Mcdugald, concrete paving is complete from South Houston to Sharon and driveways are 75% complete with curbs at 80% completion in this area. Removal of existing pavement on the South side of Mcdugald was completed between Wilson and Sharon for the installation of the new storm sewer which is 90% complete. For Sharon, concrete paving is complete on the North bound lane for the dip to Montgomery. The following work was completed on the sanitary sewer and water lines: 1" Short Services 9 ea. 1" Long Services 12 ea. 6' extra length Sewer Services 77 linear ft. 4' Dog House Manhole 1 ea. 8" SDR 26 Sewer Pipe 84 linear ft. 16 inch Water line from Well 6 to Well 9 Project Description - Project will provide a 16" surface water line to connect Well 6 (Rankin Rd) to the ground storage tank and booster pumps at Well 9 (Carpenter Rd). This will allow the surface water to be provided from 3 of the City's well sites Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Status — Engineering 100% Complete. Bidders are being evaluated. 2025 Traffic Signal Equipment Upgrades Proiect Proiect Description - As part of the City's on -going traffic signal maintenance, City staff has identified three (3) existing signalized intersections with outdated and deteriorating equipment in need of replacement and upgrades. The intersections included with this project are: • S Houston Avenue at lsaacks Road • N Houston Avenue at Townsen Blvd W Townsen Blvd at Walmart entrance drive Engineers — ARKK Engineers Contractor — Larry Young Paving Status — In April this project was on hold while the contractor waited for the traffic control boxes to come in. They are scheduled to be installed in May.
