5. Emergency Management:
a. Winter Storm Fern
i. Monitored all weather conditions for the City of Humble
ii. Attended weather conference calls with Harris County OEM, TDEM
and NWS.
iii. Conducted calls with Harris County Pct. 3 and TXDOT pertaining to
our bridges and overpasses being treated with brine solution or gravel.
iv. City of Humble Emergency Management Executive Team meeting on
Friday before the storm to go over plans for each department.
6. Special Events:
a. Humble Cook-Off
i. January 30-31, 2026
1. Staff on site to maintain fire and life safety codes for the event.
2. Assisted Safety Committee with emergency operations during
the event.
